Alexandra Township Mega Project
This Project, best known as ‘We Love Alexandra Community Makeover Project’, focuses on the rebuilding and economic development of Alexandra through various initiatives to advance the townships economy.
It is a collaborative effort involving South Africa Day, the business community, and the government. Local residents, who possess invaluable local knowledge and passion, lead the project.
The project has four key areas of focus, or portfolios, which are organized through Committees, and each Committee is led by a Chairperson.
The project portfolios are:
- Education,
- Safety and Security,
- Cleaning and Beautification, and
- Business and Economic Development.
